The Merseybeats emerged from the Liverpool scene in the early 60's regularly performing at The Cavern Club alongside the Beatles and The Swinging Blue Jeans.
They achieved chart success with ' Is it love that really counts', 'Mr Moonlight' and their biggest hits 'Sorrow' , 'Wishing n Hoping' and the fantastic 'Don't turn around'.
The Band have continued their status as one of the most popular 60's bands for over 50 years and are still fronted by Original members Tony Crane and Billy Kinsley, Tony Crane has kept it in the family by having his son Adrian Crane join him on stage on Keyboards.
Their powerful stage show still excites and entertains audiences all over the UK and are very much in demand at sixties festivals and are regularly on the bill at the successful Solid Gold Sixties theatre Tour.
