'Love Grows where my rosemary goes' was the first stroke of luck for session singer Tony Burrows and Edison Lighthouse in 1970, selling in excess of 4.5 million copies all over the world, and was a UK Number 1 for 5 weeks. Tony Burrow's also had success with bands White Plains, Brotherhood of Man, and First Class, while this was all going on for Tony his original backing group toured briefly under the name 'Edison'.
Tony Macaulay (who co-wrote love grows) meanwhile retained the name Edison Lighthouse, and found another line-up for touring and recording. "It's up to you Petula" was the bands second hit in 1971, and this line-up maintained the success with live appearances entertaining audiences far and wide whilst building a reputation for providing excelent top draw Entertainment.
They have numerous accolades including working regularly for Cunard on the Queen Mary 2 - Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria ocean liners! Although predominately Edison Lighthouse haild from the 70's they have been voted The Best 60s Band at the Butlins Festival of the 60s, which is one of the biggest event of its kind in the country. The band perform at most of the UKs prestigious venues and holiday centres including Warners Stately homes

Since early 1973 the band has featured Brian Huggins, on lead vocals / front-man, Peter Butt on Bass Guitar/vocals, Pete Amos on Lead Guitar and vocals and newest member Ray Martin ( ex Dreamers) on drums.
Because Edison Lighthouse is still in high demand as a live act today, is a sure sign of their ability to entertain & delight any audience.
